While in the office at Dominion Orthopaedic, it is very common for your physician to initially order an X-ray scan to see in detail the cause of your injury or source of your pain. This scan can be done as the first step in the diagnostic investigation of your individual injury or condition. Even if you do require more detailed testing later on in treatment (such as a CT Scan or MRI scan), you will most likely get an X-Ray at one of your first visits. The scan is not painful, and is done very quickly. Our technician will make you feel very comfortable and inform you of each step.
